At our school we want pupils to be masters of technology, being competent and innovative creators, not just consumers. Technology is everywhere and will play a pivotal part in students’ lives after they leave us and continue further into their education and then working life. Therefore, we want to model and educate our pupils on how to use technology positively, responsibly and safely. Our knowledge rich curriculum has to be balanced with the opportunity for pupils to apply their knowledge creatively, providing the opportunity for them to think computationally and logically, which will in turn help our pupils to become resilient and dynamic problem solvers. Through developing skilful users of technology, we want to provide our children with the necessary repertoire of skills to succeed in all avenues of life, knowing how to overcome obstacles or barriers they may face along the way.
