In Rabbits class the teachers are Mrs. Hyne and Mrs. Martin. We are also supported by Miss. Tunnicliffe, Miss. Page and Mrs. James-Davidson. In Rabbits class, we recognise that children learn best when their curiosity is sparked and they are actively involved in meaningful discussion. As children move from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, we nurture their growing independence and confidence. They take part in activities that invite them to explore ideas, practice new skills and express their thinking in different ways, helping them become enthusiastic, self-motivated learners.
Worship is a special part of our school community. On Mondays, Mrs Hill welcomes us all back with a whole school gathering. Tuesdays bring joyful singing worship, Wednesdays are spent with Reverend Peter for church worship, Thursdays are Key Stage worship for Years 1, 2 and 3, and Fridays end the week with celebration worship, where we recognise achievements big and small.
We enjoy a 15minute morning break and a full hour for lunch. For breaktime, our Key Stage 2 children bring a healthy snack — fruit or vegetables are ideal. At lunchtime, children can choose a packed lunch from home or a delicious hot meal cooked on site, and everyone eats together, helping to build a warm sense of community.
If you would like to enquire about places, require anymore information, or would like to arrange a tour, please do make contact with school.
