Ofsted and SIAMs

We were last visited by Ofsted in May 2016.  There had been a clear agenda of school improvement from January 2013,  when Mrs Whelan joined the school, and after our latest inspection we have been judged as a ‘good’ school with outstanding leadership and EYFS.

We have good results in EYFS (reception),  KS1 and most of our KS2 results are above national expectations.

SIAMs:

We are under the Diocese of Lichfield:

As a Church school we also receive a SIAMs visit.  This is similar to an Ofsted visit with the focus being on the Christian aspect of the school,  the values and the provision as a church of England school.  We are judged as an outstanding church school.

The school is very proud of the values it maintains and holds as important.  We are a C of E school,  which means that we have a high regard for the Christian distinctiveness of the school.  Each week we have a worship assembly which focuses on our values and relates them to many religious connections,  the bible and we follow the Shropshire agreed syllabus.
