The school day has changed: it’s been extended from 8am-5.30pm and pupils are encouraged to start the day with a breakfast club and finish with an after-school club. This is great news for working parents – now you can top and tail the day with good quality child care at school.

There are variety of school based clubs available,  some run by teachers,  others run by specialised coaches and some from outside agencies.  We work closely with Embrace and Crossbar to provide quality sports activities and there is also an independently run after school club at Oakmeadow.  This is a community based club open to all.

Crossbar is also an extended club open to the community,  you do not need to be a pupil to attend this!

Community Based Clubs

Oakmeadow hosts an external after school club, this also provides holiday care.

This is run by a highly trained professional: Tara Thomas and provides a variety of activities ranging from art to sport to drama.

Contact the school office for details.

School Based Clubs

We have a wide variety of clubs across the school and these come out termly for you to book a place. We feel it is important to have a balance in sport, art and other enrichment activities.

We have a mixture of free and reduced cost clubs, which we try to keep to a small fee and this is to cover the staffing for these clubs. Some are run by qualified coaches, specialist teaching assistants and some by teachers. Please ask if there is a club you wish us to consider… We are always looking at ways we can offer more.
