I am originally from a small mining town in South Yorkshire and moved to Shrewsbury to take up a post as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in cardiac rehabilitation.
I now work as a University lecturer teaching the related topics of physiology, exercise, health promotion and health research.
Away from work I have a daughter who attends Oakmeadow and a partner of 20 years. We enjoy being a family, spending time outdoors, bouncy castles and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
I am excited to be a new Parent Governor as it is a new challenge and I look forward to filling the role for the next four years.
